Job Title: Service Technician – Experienced

Advanced Mechanical Systems, Inc. is located in Spokane Valley, WA. We have been serving the Spokane area and North Idaho and the surrounding area in heating and cooling needs since 1984. We are customer focused and warranty all our work, service and installations. We are currently looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. Work Hours: 7:30am to 4:30pm, Monday – Friday, some weeknights and weekends when on call.

Pay Scale: DOE + Spiffs + On Call Stipend

Position Summary: To provide maintenance and repairs on commercial and residential heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards and a commitment to providing our customers exceptional quality service.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or its equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and clean, insurable driving record
• Pass background and drug screen
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
• Be familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques
• Experience making repair and replace decisions
• Ability to acquire low voltage license within 2 years of employment
• Advanced customer service skills
• Demonstrate willingness to accept responsibility and leadership roles
• Knowledge of air balancing principles and techniques
• Possess the necessary tools needed to perform the services required
• Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs

Qualifications desired:

• MECH1 License
• Universal EPA Certification
• L & I O6A Apprentice Card
• 3+ years’ experience
