About Our Service

What areas do you serve?

Advanced Mechanical Systems serves customers across Spokane, Spokane Valley, Liberty Lake, Cheney, Coeur d’Alene, Post Falls, and Hayden . anywhere within roughly a 40-mile radius of our Spokane shop. We are licensed in both Washington and Idaho.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Advanced Mechanical Systems holds active Washington and Idaho contractor licenses, carries general liability, workers’ compensation, and commercial auto insurance. All technicians are EPA Section 608 certified.

Do you work on residential or commercial?

Both. We handle residential heating, cooling, install, and maintenance for Spokane homes . plus commercial HVAC for offices, retail, restaurants, multifamily, medical, and other businesses.

How quickly do you respond to service calls?

Same day during business hours for most calls. We prioritize true emergencies (no heat in winter, no cooling in summer) and maintenance-plan customers.

Estimates & Quotes

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes . free walkthrough estimates for installation, replacement, and maintenance plans. Diagnostic service calls (where we are sent to fix a specific problem) carry a standard dispatch charge that is credited back if you proceed with the recommended repair.

How do I get a quote?

Fill out the form on this site, call (509) 534-0547, or use the consultation form. We will call back to schedule a walkthrough . typically within one business day.

Do you offer financing on larger projects?

Yes. We offer equipment financing through several lenders, and we will help you take advantage of utility rebates (Avista, Inland Power, Kootenai Electric) and federal tax credits where eligible.

What payment methods do you accept?

Check, ACH, all major credit cards, and net-30 terms on approved commercial accounts.

Installation & Maintenance

Why does installation quality matter so much?

A proper installation accounts for as much as 75% of the long term efficiency of an HVAC system. Oversized units short-cycle and burn out compressors. Undersized units never keep up and run up utility bills. We size against the actual load, balance the duct, and commission the system with measured airflow before we leave.

How often should HVAC be serviced?

We recommend professional service in the spring and the fall at minimum . once before cooling season and once before heating season. Heavy-use commercial equipment may need quarterly attention.

What systems do you install?

Heat pumps, gas and electric furnaces, geothermal systems, ductless mini splits, water heaters, boilers, radiant floor systems, air conditioning units, and package units. Brand-agnostic . we install what fits the application.

When should I replace versus repair?

A rough rule of thumb: if a unit is older than 12 to 15 years, the repair cost is more than half of replacement, and you have had multiple service calls in the same year, replacement is usually the right call. We walk through total cost of ownership before recommending either way.

What does a maintenance plan include?

Filter changes, coil cleaning, drain pan flush, electrical checks, refrigerant pressures, belt and motor inspection, and a written condition report. Plan customers also get priority dispatch, discounted parts, and reduced hourly rates on any non-plan service work.

Working With Us

Do you handle permits and inspections?

Yes. We pull all required mechanical and electrical permits, coordinate with City of Spokane, Spokane Valley, and Idaho jurisdictions, and meet the inspector on site. You should never have to chase a permit on a job we ran.

Will you work on equipment under warranty?

Yes. We honor and submit manufacturer warranty claims (parts and labor where applicable) and we will tell you up front whether a repair is covered, partially covered, or out-of-warranty.

Do you serve North Idaho?

Yes. We have dedicated city pages for Coeur d’Alene, Post Falls, and Hayden . Advanced Mechanical Systems is licensed in Idaho and crosses the state line regularly.

Still have questions?

That’s normal . every home and building is a little different. We’d rather give you a clear answer than send another marketing email.
